About us

The Saddle Tack Exchange was founded by Adam Schwalm in 2014. Showing western horses all throughout his youth, Adam made his way to Texas Tech University and was a member of the National Champion Ranch Horse Team. After graduating with an Animal Science degree, Adam spent the next several years training horses and as the marketing director for a large horse farm in Central Texas. During that time, Adam began to trade used saddles and tack for his own personal use and fun. After filling up the office, spare bedroom and garage with saddles and tack, The Saddle House was officially in business in 2014.
